ALLAIRE SHOW

Mar. 14, 2014 - Back in the studio - In between live appearances at festivals this Spring and Summer, John will be finishing off his 9th solo offering in the studio, with a projected late Spring/early Summer release. Regulars at The ALLAIRE SHOW have heard many on the new tracks in a live setting already. This one promises to be a true solo release, with minimal backing musician. Stay tuned!

Jan. 30, 2014 - One of John's favourite authors has just published his latest book "The Smart Aleck Chronicles III". Previous Chronicles have had occasion to mention John in an anecdote or two...

"The original Smart Aleck Chronicles was published to little, if any notice in 2007. This was followed five years later with the release of a second volume. As noted in the prefaces to both these collections, their intended purpose was to present to readers a series of literary entertainments on a range of issues, activities, personalities and phenomena. In this, the third volume, these observations and commentaries continue, combined once again with short works of fiction. The author hopes, as he did with respect to the two previous volumes, that this edition is faithful to the lofty standards and possible amusements of those books."

The CD, called Peace, Love and Understanding, Vol. 1,  was released under the name John Allaire & the Confederation! It was officially released on November 21st at the Mayfair. Jan. 10, 2014 - Happy New Year! Here's hoping 2014 will be amazing!
Well, WOW! The "Songwriters for the Community" show that John Allaire and the Confederation put on in November was truly inspiring! With the help from musicians Shawn Tavenier, Ken Workman, John Carroll, Shannon Rose, Jeff Tanguay, Lynne Hanson, Terry McLeish, Jill Zmud, Andrea Simms-Karp and Al Wood, the Mayfair Theatre was rockin', all in support of the Heart Institute Foundation! Thank you to the 200-or-so people who packed into the theatre and a HUGE thanks to the volunteers, to the hosts CBC's Stu Mills and CKCU's David Yazbeck, sponsors and the ABC Brewing Co.

Hey! Let's do it again!
