THIS IS IT! Last ALLAIRE SHOW at Quinn’s for Season 16! And what a season it has been!
SATURDAY – The ALLAIRE SHOW at Quinn’s As we do every year, we top up our Christmas donation to the Rural Food Banks with a little final-show benefit. (Our Christmas donation this year was $20,000 if you remember!!). The show will consist of spinning the wheel for prizes, stumping the band, and a whole bunch more!
And as usual, our guest for the final show is John’s long-time musical partner, Jeff Tanguay. He is an Ottawa–Gatineau–based singer-songwriter and guitarist with deep roots in the region’s music scene. He first came to prominence as a member of Gonks go Beat and The Town Cryers, well-known Ottawa bands, and has spent decades performing throughout Ontario and Quebec.
And as mentioned, for more than 40 years, Tanguay has also been a bandmate and musical partner of John Allaire, collaborating in numerous projects, bands, and live performances. Known for his strong musicianship and harmony work, he remains an active performer in the local rock and songwriter community through his current band The Life-Size Men.
Quinn’s, 1070 Bank St. Doors open at 2pm. Showtime is 3pm-5pm. It’s a “Pay-What-You-Can” event!
