Three shows this week folks!
1. THURSDAY The ALLAIRE SHOW WEST at Brews and Blues in Stittsville (1523 Stittsville Main) features the show’s great friend and incredible artist Matthew Larkin! Matthew Larkin and Friends. Matthew is one of Canada’s most accomplished and electrifying musical artists, known for his remarkable versatility as a pianist, organist, composer, arranger, and bandleader. Classically trained and internationally recognized for his work, Larkin has spent decades performing across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, bringing both quiet finesse and thunderous power to every instrument he touches.
Beyond the concert hall, Matthew is a fearless collaborator who moves effortlessly between genres. His deep musical curiosity has led him into gospel, soul, folk, roots rock, and improvisational settings, where his intuition and sense of drama elevate every ensemble he joins. Whether he’s at a cathedral console or a dive-bar piano, Matthew brings the same unmistakable combination of virtuosity, humour, and humanity.
This December, he brings that magic to The ALLAIRE SHOW —and he’s not coming alone.
Matthew is bringing a powerhouse trio to both WEST and possibly and even bigger ensemble to the CENTRAL show for two unforgettable seasonal shows guaranteed to shake the frost off your boots and warm every corner of the room. Joining him onstage:
Carmen Harris – A stunning vocalist with deep soul roots and a voice that glides effortlessly from velvet smooth to gospel fire. Carmen brings emotional weight, warmth, and pure joy to every note. She’s the kind of singer who can silence a room or lift it straight through the ceiling.
Nick Cochrane – A dynamic performer equally at home behind a microphone or blasting a line on trumpet. Nick’s tone is rich and confident, and his stage presence brings sparkle, swing, and a little bit of mischief to the music. His harmonies and horn lines add colour and punch in all the right places.
Two shows, two rooms, one hell of a holiday vibe. Expect soulful seasonal classics, unexpected arrangements, virtuosic turns from every player, and that trademark Matthew Larkin energy—equal parts reverent, rowdy, and wildly entertaining.

2. FRIDAY – John takes his solo “Johnny’s Jukebox” show to his old haunt, the SouthSide Tap & Grill

3. SATURDAY AFTERNOON – The ALLAIRE SHOW CENTRAL at Quinn’s once again features Matthew Larkin (and even MORE friends!) Doors open at 2pm, showtime 3pm-5pm! 1070 Bank St. (first come, first serve seating. No reservations.)
